As she prepares to kick off the release of her second album (yes, second) singer/songwriter Solange Knowles, is stepping out from big sister Beyonce’s shadow and into the spotlight in a big way. Stepping out in London, she opts for classic Christian Louboutin blue pumps to pop with a regal tangerine wrap dress.
It must be hard to live up to the force that is Beyonce, but baby girl is doing it for herself courtesy of style-maker himself Giorgio Armani. Solange has just been signed to front the new Armani Jeans campaign. Armani released this statement:

Making the rounds to MTV’s TRL and photo opps to promote her album, Sol-Angel and the Hadley Street Dreams, the former teen mom (no OK! magazine heralding the mama drama to the world for the Knowles clan) has shown off a look that proclaims I’m coming out! Diana Ross style.

Like her music, it’s a mix of influences from Motown and soul icons like the Supremes and the Ronettes (short skirts and dresses with 60s touches), and bold neon colors (killer shoes and bags) that speak to her electronica tastes. And those legs! They go on for days. The heels Solange favors definitely show them off to glorious advantage.
