It seems as though the desire of the “Christian front” for movies in line with our religious beliefs and philosophical outlook is being given some attention with actual theater releases! Here is another movie coming from Advent Films. Looks like it might be a good pro-life movie. www.adventfilmgroup.com On a related note: Papasully and I went to see Ben Stein’s documentary “Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed” . While it did not provide quite the level of investigative reporting or scientific data I was hoping for, it was very good and gave some terrific food for thought and fodder for dinner conversation. Papasully and I are often lamenting the lack of distinctions made in our modern culture. One of the scientists (my apologies, I didn’t take notes, so I can’t cite who) pointed out a lack of distinction made even when using the term “evolution”. When speaking of evolution we need to make a distinction between change within a species over time, or one species becoming a different species altogether. It is my opinion that change within species is readily apparent (take increased human stature for example). I have not seen to date any convincing evidence that one species morphs into another entirely. The other interesting thing I noticed was the evolutionists refusal to admit a “first mover“. When asked directly how the first single cell organism came into being two answers were given 1. they grew on the backs of crystals, or 2. they were seeded by aliens. HUH???!!! And we are the nuts for thinking God did it? Maybe if we start calling God “Hirndi” from the planet “Ruheri” we will be taken more seriously. Sheesh. For a very interesting and knowledgeable website on the subject try Was Darwin Right? I am sure a few Google searches would net a ton of info too.
